SupeinNihonto was born from a lifelong fascination with Japanese martial arts, traditional craftsmanship, and the history of the samurai.

What began through years of practice in Aikido, Kendo, and Iaido gradually evolved into a deeper passion for collecting authentic Japanese swords, armor, and historical artifacts. During that journey, we discovered how difficult it was to find genuine pieces beyond the countless replicas and mass-produced reproductions that dominate the international market.

Driven by that challenge, we dedicated ourselves to building trusted relationships with dealers, craftsmen, and specialists across Japan. Over time, we immersed ourselves in the study of Nihontō, Tosogu, samurai armor, and Japanese history, learning not only how to identify authentic pieces, but also how to source them responsibly and respectfully.
